About Us

We are a small hobby breeder of quality AKC golden retrievers. Our goldens are family membes and so we produce a limited number of litters a year, prioritizing the health and happiness of our dogs and ensuring that our pups are brought up in a safe and loving environment. Our sires and dams have been DNA tested to be free of any genetic abnormalities and known genetic issues that are common to Golden Retrievers.
Our puppies are raised in our home and socialized to people at an early age. They live in our family room, the hub of our home, for the first several weeks of life and are held and handled daily and given a lot of stimulation to promote healthy development, trust in being handled, and love of human interaction. We begin noise training at an early age to a variety of sounds including vacuum, lawn mower, blower, television, kitchen noises, as well as parrot and chicken noises. They also get exposed to other sounds of nature through dog tv videos featuring dogs, squirrels, birds, and other animals as well as other nature shows played on the tv daily in the family room for the enjoyment of our own dogs as well as the pups. House training is started while still in the whelping pen capitalizing on puppy's basic instinct to not soil their sleeping area. Positive reinforcement is used to encourage positive behaviors. Pups are exposed to age appropriate toys as baby teeth are growing in, to allow them to explore and gain exposure through mouthing different textures.

Rylie

Rylie is a light golden and has a sweet, loving temperament. She is highly intelligent and highly food driven. By the time she was a year old she had mastered over a dozen tricks and commands. She has a moderate energy level and is always up for adventure but she is also happy to chill out at home and hang with the family. She has had puppies that have been very loving and devoted to their humans, highly intelligent, and range in energy levels from calm and mellow to medium energetic and highly athletic. Some of her pups have been appropriate for service dog and emotional support animal placements due to calm demeanor and intelligence, and some have been ideal for agility events due to athleticism and intelligence.

Kenzie

Kenzie is a medium/dark golden with a calm demeanor and is highly devoted to her humans. She was trained as a service dog due to her natural desire to assist her humans with daily tasks. She took to the training naturally due to her steady temperament and consistent behavior. Her favorite thing when off duty is to cuddle up in her human's lap and get her ears scratched. Kenzie just recently had her first litter and is a loving and attentive mom. Her pups have all been advanced in achieving developmental milestones thus far. We expect that her calm temperament and intelligence will be passed on to the pups.

Harley

Harley is a medium golden. She is from Rylie's 2023 litter. She has the pure golden personality, sweet, friendly, confident, and inquisitive. She is highly intelligent, very calm indoors, and very athletic outdoors. She runs very fast and jumps very high. We are considering entering her into agility trials following her health testing at age 2. Indoors, along with curling up on a lap and getting hugs, she loves to watch dog tv or any nature tv shows. Interestingly, we had trouble teaching her to shake and found it out it is because she is a lefty. She approaches all tasks with her left paw first, as opposed to all of our other dogs that are right-pawed. She will be considered for breeding after her 2 year health testing is completed.

Winston

Winston is a light golden. He has a fun loving personality. He likes to ride in the car, and his favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with a ball. He loves having the fur on his chest petted and will melt into a pile of goo if you run your fingers through his mane. He also has the sweet golden temperament and always reminds us that it is easy to find the joy in life in the little things.

Ozzie

Ozzie is a senior citizen chihuahua. While not a contributing member of our breeding program, he has assisted our dogs as they grew from pups into adults to learn how to appropriately play with others that may be smaller and more fragile. He is very patient but will not hesitate to bark them a piece of his mind if they step out of line or play too rough with him. We like to think that this has helped us to develop our Goldens into kind, gentle, conscientious family members. Traits that they can then pass on to their pups through modeling appropriate behaviors.

Current Puppies

We require everyone interested in one of our puppies to complete a puppy application and then we will offer a video call to answer questions and introduce our pups. Site visits are only allowed after the first shots, and with veterinarian approval, due to young pups being very vulnerable to outside viruses and diseases at this stage of life. Deposits are taken on a first come, first serve basis. Order of deposits received will determine order of choice of available puppies. We do try to make recommendations that match temperament and energy level of the puppy to the home he or she is going to and the prospective new puppy parent's desire. However, while we do make recommendations, the puppy parent will always have the final choice from the remaining available puppies. Puppies will not go home before the age of 8 weeks, and must meet all developmental milestones prior to being sent to their new homes. If the puppy parent does not feel any of the remaining puppies are suitable for their needs, they will have the option to wait for the next litter and be given priority placement on the waitlist for that litter.

Puppy PricingPuppies from Kenzie's litter are priced at $3000 with a $750 deposit due to hold position in pick order and the remainder due on or before pick up. Pups don't leave until payments have cleared. To find out more about current available puppies and pricing, please see our ad on AKC Marketplace

Pebbles

After not having a puppy for 20 plus years of not having a puppy or a dog, I was blessed with one of Riley‘s puppies. I was blessed to watch my baby grow from day one. My baby had a Christmas name and I decided to change it to Pebbles. I had to learn everything over again. There were times that I didn’t think that I would get through it My little girl Pebbles change that she made me laugh and cry at times Pebbles is very smart I can train her and within hours she picks up the new command. Pebbles is now 15 months old and a very healthy golden retriever. I have an 80-year-old mother who is with me and Pebbles has been such a joy to my mom she is very loving and caring when she’s around my mother. She’s is also very gentle around my mother. My girl is very loved and well taken care of and I couldn’t imagine my life without her today. Pebbles can be very active. I recently found out that she loves to run. I have a huge backyard so she does circles and circles in the backyard. Pebbles can also be a couch potato at times and be very affectionate and cuddly. -Jackie
